Latimer 2022
Forty-four students from across the UK joined us this July for our second summer, and the sun shone for nearly all of it.
Seminars ranged from Aristotle on friendship to Simone Weil on rootedness. The debate on “This house would rather be right than kind” went to a recount. The choir sang Byrd’s Ave verum corpus at the closing concert, and there weren’t many dry eyes.
For the first time, four of our 2021 students returned as mentors. It was wonderful to have them back.
